WWF UK. ADOPT A TURTLE.

Objective:
To boost donations to WWF's animal adoption program by bringing the public closer through an innovative AR experience and AR Ads.

Creative Solution:
We developed an Augmented Reality filter that placed a real-scale virtual turtle in the user's environment. The interactive experience encouraged users to slide their finger across the screen, making time pass to watch the turtle's eggs hatch.

My Role & Strategic Impact:

  • Contributed to Meta’s global pitch challenge for WWF, where our idea for increasing animal adoptions through AR was selected to move forward.

  • Led concept ideation and research (ensuring scientific accuracy) that guided the choice of the turtle as the spotlight species.

  • Executed the entire AR filter development, programming the real-scale virtual turtle interaction for user environments.

  • Participated in strategic and technical alignment meetings with Meta and WWF UK, ensuring creative vision and consistency across all project phases to achieve donation goals.
